Sports Instructor

At a prestigious polo club, we are seeking an experienced and passionate sports instructor to lead our horse riding team.

  • Deliver high-quality horse riding lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
  • Prepare students for monthly competitions and provide guidance on show days.
  • Maintain a safe and enjoyable learning environment, promoting student engagement and progress.
  • Keep accurate rider records and assess new riders as needed.

The role also involves stable management, ensuring the daily care and well-being of our horses. This includes:

  • Daily checks on stables and horses between 7am-8:30am, with weekly reports submitted.
  • Ordering feed and bedding requirements on a weekly basis.
  • Training and supporting our grooms in their roles.
  • Maintaining tack and equipment inventory, recommending replacements as necessary.

We require someone with:

  • A British Horse Society Assistant Instructor (BHS AI) Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional customer care.
  • A passion for teaching horse riding at all levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
