Job Title:

Customer Experience Ambassador

At our organization, we strive to make a difference in people's lives by delivering exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a Customer Experience Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for interacting with customers and colleagues, supporting sales initiatives, and performing various tasks while providing a legendary customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending solutions, and adding value.
  • Operate cash registers and computers efficiently, following established cash handling procedures.
  • Participate in inventory recovery, freight processing, and planogram procedures.
  • Assemble merchandise, perform janitorial duties, execute price changes, and operate equipment safely.
  • Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required; however, retail experience and knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding are strongly preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; Team Members must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Working Conditions:

The working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise. Floors and outdoor lots are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) with adequate lighting and temperature. Work shifts vary from one store to another but generally are no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours. Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers and adhere to Company safety training and guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach constantly throughout the day. Maintain regular and predictable attendance, work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
