Job Title:
Senior Biomedical Systems Engineer

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Biomedical Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting biomedical systems, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects related to biomedical system maintenance and repair
  • Perform preventive maintenance on biomedical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair biomedical systems
  • Collaborate with user departments and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs
  • Commission new biomedical equipment and ensure it functions according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Assist with IT integration-related issues for biomedical equipment
  • Place and expedite parts orders for breakdown jobs
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance jobs are completed within required timeframe
  • Liaise with user departments and vendors to minimize impact on user operations
  • Assist with inventory management for biomedical equipment
  • Prepare reports summarizing information and trends on biomedical equipment
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions with various user departments
  • Draft technical specifications for procurement of new biomedical equipment
  • Participate in evaluation and procurement of biomedical equipment
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technical officers
  • Attend technical training sessions on biomedical equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering + 5 years working experience
