ESH Manager Position

Job Description:
The ESH Section Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring environmental, safety, and health compliance within the organization. This involves aligning plant operations with regulatory requirements, thereby mitigating environmental impact, preventing accidents, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment for employees.
Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining ESH programs, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvement. The ESH Section Leader also collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides guidance and training to employees, and fosters a culture of ESH awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
Monitoring and reporting ESH performance is a critical aspect of this role, requiring close liaison with regulatory agencies and participation in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ESH regulations. Furthermore, the ESH Section Leader oversees and manages budgets and expenditures related to ESH initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess relevant qualifications and skills, including a degree in ESH or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity, combined with Level C WSH competency certification, Certified Confine Space Assessor/WAH Assessor, and Biz Safe Level 2 certification, are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to plan and organize tasks effectively.
