Interior Design Expert

The incumbent will be responsible for FF&E in all design phases, from concept to completion. Ensuring designs meet Client's expectations and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing concepts and designs with the design team
  • Selecting and preparing FF&E materials and finishes for presentation
  • Coordinating with designers to ensure furniture layouts, perspectives, and 2D/3D renderings meet client's needs
  • Completing project assignments within deadlines
  • Preparing full sets of FF&E specifications and documentation for tender and construction drawings
  • Reviewing shop drawings from suppliers and contractors
  • Attending site meetings and factory inspections to review materials and furniture

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Textiles or Interior Design or equivalent

  • Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max, and SketchUp a plus
  • PC versatility essential
  • Good understanding of design composition, planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to interpret specifications and layouts
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
