Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Senior Claims Specialist to be based in our Singapore office specializing in third party lines to join our Claims Team.

This role will need to oversee management of key partnerships with Third Party Administrators and work closely with the leadership team to optimize claims solutions to support our growth proposition and speed to market.

You will also be expected to contribute across the organization by providing input and advice to underwriters and actuaries by identifying and monitoring trends and issues and providing insightful and actionable feedback to underwriters, local management, and the Head of Claims.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct outside experts, including adjusters and lawyers
  • Prepare case summary reports related to matters of significant reserve and litigation activity
  • Set timely and appropriate case reserves
  • Develop and execute claim strategies as well as resolution strategies
  • Negotiate and resolve cases
  • Manage and oversee Third party administrators (TPAs)

The successful candidate will have a collaborative mind-set and willingness to work with people outside immediate reporting hierarchy to improve processes and generate optimal departmental efficiency.
