Job Title: Public Health Specialist
Role Overview:
The Public Health Specialist will play a crucial role in formulating and implementing disease prevention and control strategies to protect the health of Singaporeans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Formulate evidence-based policies for disease control and outbreak preparedness strategies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of disease prevention and control strategies and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement national policies and standard operating procedures for controlling healthcare-associated outbreaks.
- Lead disease epidemiological investigations, propose control measures, and oversee their implementation and evaluation.
- Develop HAIs surveillance programmes and analyze surveillance data to inform public health policies and systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the healthcare sector to align strategy, share information, and maintain high-quality surveillance data.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and understand the epidemiological situation of pathogens in Singapore.
