Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Specialist

This role involves leading, overseeing, and supporting key health promotion and disease prevention services/work processes aimed at patients in the context of HealthierSG. The goal is to optimize population health in Northern and Central Singapore.

The successful candidate will provide pertinent data support, monitoring, and analysis relating to the operations and performance outcomes of services and work processes. They will also administer patient and family education materials, curating relevant content from various professionals within NHG institutions and external stakeholders.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Specialist will deliver selected health talks, workshops, and events in a professional and competent manner. This may include collaborating with other teams to plan and schedule updates, print materials, and set up displays to support Health Promotion initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum degree in a relevant field and be willing to learn and develop their skills further through training courses, seminars, and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, oversee, and/or support key health promotion and disease prevention services/work processes
  • Provide pertinent data support, monitoring, and analysis
  • Administer patient and family education materials
  • Deliver health talks, workshops, and events
  • Collaborate with other teams to support Health Promotion initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Min. Degree in any relevant field
  • No experience as training will be provided
