Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Energy Storage Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical delivery of our energy storage projects globally, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region.

  • Provide specialist technical inputs in the delivery of battery energy storage system (BESS) related projects globally, with an immediate focus on the Asia Pacific region.
  • Interface with clients at all levels, manage contractual relationships and respond to business opportunities.
  • Lead projects according to our quality assurance system.
  • Manage project resources, coordinating specialist discipline input from other parts of the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain our knowledge base of current technical standards and practices.

Requirements

  • A degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a specialization in power systems, renewable energy and/or sustainable energy technology.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including working on designs, simulation and/or deployment of BESS.
  • Experience working on renewable energy projects (e.g. Solar PV, wind and hydropower) would be a strong advantage.
  • Experience with power system simulation tools and/or microgrid and hybrid energy system simulation tools would be a strong advantage.
  • Project management skills and experience in an international, multicultural environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability build client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
