Job Title

A role is available for a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to work with Dr. Liu Shi on studying signaling modes and underlying molecular mechanisms of certain GPCRs that are relevant to metabolic diseases.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing various cell assays to investigate GPCR signaling.
  • Performing molecular biology experiments to study the GPCR interactome.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of lab biosafety.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Science or a related field.
  • Experience with a range of techniques, including mammalian cell culture, stable cell line construction, western blot, quantitative PCR, and confocal microscopy.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a biology lab and ability to independently conduct routine molecular and cell biology experiments.
