**Job Overview**

 

As a Air-Conditioning and Refrigerating Equipment Installer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of air conditioning systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, dismantle, and repair air conditioning systems, including ducting, copper piping, and electrical connections.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and functional checks on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Calibrate and adjust thermostats, valves, and controls to specified operational levels.
  • Read meter and gauge readings, record data such as temperature, and hours of operation.
  • Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions in air conditioning systems.
  • Respond to emergency situations by making complex repairs, testing, and treating circulating water to prevent scale and corrosion.
  • Assist in preparing material lists, estimating job costs, preparing job records, and maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools.
