Automotive Air Conditioning Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Air Conditioning Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in air conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose: Identify the cause of malfunctions in air conditioning systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair: Replace or fix damaged components like compressors, condensers, or evaporators.
• Maintain: Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, inspecting, and recharging refrigerant.
• Install: Install new air conditioning units and components in vehicles.
• Test: Ensure the system functions properly after repairs or maintenance by testing performance and adjusting settings.
• Customer Service: Communicate with customers about the issues, repair options, and costs.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, particularly those related to handling refrigerants and working with electrical components.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Staying Updated: Keep up with the latest advancements and technologies in automotive air conditioning systems.

Qualifications:
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive air conditioning systems, components, and diagnostic tools.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of system failures.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Experience: Prior experience in automotive air conditioning repair is often preferred.
