Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identify potential maintenance risks on equipment and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Detect and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems as needed, including performing warranty services.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including daily logs and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Adhere to established service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
  • Assist customers with queries and provide excellent customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in air conditioning system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, particularly in relation to HVAC systems.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot complex faults.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
