Product Executive Job Description

As a Product Executive at Tech Data Distribution (Singapore) PTE. LTD., you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and profit targets for our product groups. Your primary responsibility will be to support the team in achieving these objectives while creating the highest return for both Tech Data and our vendors.

This is a sales enablement position where you will leverage marketing programs, sales training, sales support, technical pre-sales support, vendor contract, and vendor relationship to achieve revenue outcomes. Your activities will target both our extended sales team and the partner community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales enablement programs for Tech Data and partners to promote our suite of products.
  • Conceptualize and develop marketing programs, channel, and demand generation to support product group objectives.
  • Manage product and inventory for appointed product lines, ensuring optimal sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders within the company to drive business growth.
  • Liaise with and develop relationships with principals, strategic accounts, and vendors to foster strong partnerships.
  • Engage with partners and vendors to cultivate strong rapport and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Implement business plans that achieve agreed vendor revenue targets and generate planned profit outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain operational level vendor relationships to drive business growth.
  • Measure and maintain critical product group performance data to ensure Tech Data meets vendor commitments and leverages commercial opportunities.
  • Support the manager in business forecasting and planning for product groups with vendors.
  • Provide various reports for commercial decision-making purposes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or Sales, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar function in the IT industry.
  • Customer-driven and result-oriented with excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
