Fire Protection Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Protection Construction Project Manager to lead our fire protection construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design, installation, and commissioning of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations, timely delivery, and quality standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project manager to join our team and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of SCDF codes, NFPA standards, and BCA regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage fire protection system design, installation, and commissioning for projects in Singapore.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, timely delivery, and quality standards.
  • Assess site requirements and define project scope.
  • Prepare budgets, schedules, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Review fire protection system designs to ensure compliance with SCDF and other regulations.
  • Manage procurement of materials and vendor contracts.
  • Supervise installation works, resolve site issues, and ensure quality.
  • Coordinate with MEP trades and enforce workplace safety standards.
  • Oversee testing of sprinklers, hydrants, alarms, and suppression systems.
  • Rectify deficiencies and prepare all required certifications.
  • Conduct final inspections, obtain client sign-off, and deliver documentation.
  • Address post-handover warranty issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing fire protection construction projects within Singapore.
  • Knowledge of SCDF codes, NFPA standards, and BCA regulations.
  • Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and project management skills.
  • Determined and positive attitude.
