Job Title: Mechanical Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical site leader to oversee and coordinate various tasks, maintenance activities, and new projects on Jurong Island.

  • Coordinating mechanical works for ad-hoc tasks, turnarounds, commissioning, and new projects.
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and ISO diagrams for feasibility and accuracy.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance.
  • Supervising site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Monitoring project progress and recommending solutions for delays or issues.
  • Managing site resources efficiently, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and supervising mechanical works to ensure timely completion.
  • Interpreting technical documents and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring site activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Resolving project-related issues promptly.
  • Effective resource management to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • A higher diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in ISO drawings, commissioning, TAR, and ad-hoc project execution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
