Contract Legal Professional


Job Description:

This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills and experience in a fast-paced environment. As a contract legal professional, you will provide support to the legal team with a focus on product and regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for handling data and other general requests from law enforcement agencies and government departments. Additionally, you will provide general legal support and assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned from time to time.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Furthermore, you will need to have expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to manage external professional parties and internal counterparts.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in a reputable law firm as a paralegal/legal consultant is preferred but not essential.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above (preferably in law)

- Able to draft, review, comment, proof-read, and negotiate commercial agreements and documents in English and Mandarin

- Willing to learn new areas of law with an open mind

- Ability to work independently, diligent, result-oriented, self-motivated, and have a strong sense of responsibility

- Sound interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and with ability to work under pressure

- Expert knowledge in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Ability to manage external professional parties and internal counterparts

- Self-motivated team player with positive attitude

- Attentive to details
