Job Description

This is a leadership role that oversees the development and execution of global client solutions strategies. The incumbent will lead a team responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and providing support to market teams.

Duties

  • ">
  • Leading Business Propositions (35%)">
    • ">
    • Develop and implement global propositions or product innovation initiatives.">
    • Support in-market teams to review and refine existing strategies as appropriate.">
    ">
  • Leading Global Enablement Function (25%)">
    • ">
    • Coordinate and initiate support on global protection initiatives, including strategic initiatives, DISC projects, large or unusual projects, and initiatives developed by the Business Proposition function.">
    • Work with other functions within PL Re, such as DBS, Technology, etc., to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.">
    ">
  • Providing Leadership and Direction to Marketing Function (15%)">
    • ">
    • E nsure alignment between marketing activity and market strategies in each of our markets and with UnderwriteMe.">
    • Support the development of marketing strategies and plans to align our brand in our markets with our target brand.">
    ">
  • Building and Leading Global Client Solutions Team (20%)">
    • ">
    • Set a vision for the team and translate this into appropriately challenging objectives.">
    • Support the development of team members by providing ongoing coaching and development/stretch goals, aligned with the company objectives.">
    • Prioritise objectives and plans as appropriate to maximise opportunities to achieve KPIs.">

  • Providing Chief of Staff Support (5%)">
    • ">
    • Support the development and review of strategic objectives.">
    • Support the reporting of strategic objectives and other initiatives, including in staff meetings and other forums.">

Essential Qualifications & Experience

">
  • ">
  • Knowledge: Educated to at least degree level, preferably with actuarial or other similar training, 10+ years proven experience working in a life (re)insurer, preferably in a pricing or client solutions department at a senior level.">
  • Leadership Skills: Strong management/leadership background with track record of leading and developing high performance teams and being able to lead via influence.">
  • Commercial Judgement: Strong analytical skills combined with sound judgement and commercial awareness.">
