Job Description:

A highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Project Manager is required to lead and manage regulatory reporting projects from initiation to completion.

This involves ensuring timely delivery, adherence to project scope and objectives, and effective collaboration with internal IT teams and external software vendors.

You will utilize project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) to plan, execute, and monitor project progress, preparing and maintaining project documentation along the way.

Key responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and translating them into functional and technical specifications.

You will conduct gap analysis, identify areas for process improvement, and develop detailed business requirement documents, functional specification documents, and data transformation documents.

Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for EMIR, MiFIR, HKMA, and MAS, you will stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on existing reporting processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking industry
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for EMIR, MiFIR, HKMA, and MAS
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture and transaction regulatory reporting tools and frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to model complex systems and data

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
