Job Overview:

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding 4Fingers' presence in Singapore by identifying and securing profitable locations.

Main Responsibilities:Sites Acquisition and Expansion
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new restaurant sites aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough site surveys and feasibility studies, including demographic analysis and risk assessment.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and manage relationships with landlords, developers, and property agents.
  • Present business case proposals for approval.
Lease Management
  • Manage lease renewals, rent reviews, relocation, and termination.
  • Celebrate the completion of leasing milestones.
  • Secure necessary documentations for submission to authorities.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices, timely openings, cost optimization, promotional preparations, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, expiries, and rental obligations.
  • Continuously identify potential sites for expansion.
Rénovation & Refurbishment of existing stores
  • Plan and execute renovation, remodeling, and refurbishment projects across the restaurant network.
  • Regularly assess store conditions and recommend upgrades.
  • Minimize operational disruptions during renovation projects.
  • Deliver high-quality projects that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and brand image.
  • Prepare CAPEX proposals before commencing new projects.
  • Track repair costs, asset disposal, and equipment write-offs.
  • Keep an up-to-date inventory of store assets.
Facility Maintenance
  • Oversee facility management of all outlets.
  • Conduct regular routine audits/inspections to check and assess store maintenance and upkeep, condition of equipment, etc.
  • Support operations teams on situations and propose corrective/preventive action plans.
  • Develop annual budget allocations for repairs and maintenance, including Image & Branding Enhancement.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Develop long-term expansion and renovation strategies.
  • Monitor property and construction market trends for opportunities and cost savings.
  • Provide regular project progress reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and marketing teams to align projects with business goals.
Additional Duties
  • Perform any other tasks related to restaurant properties, maintenance, and leasing as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality/Marketing/Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in F&B or retail chain industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with local leasing practices.
  • Forward-thinking and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess complex situations.
  • Skilled negotiator with ability to manage partnerships and vendor relationships.
  • Own transport required with willingness to travel.
