Main Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing financial documents and performing basic accounting functions, such as data entry into the accounting system and filing tasks.
• Support the management of accounts payable, issue payments, process reimbursements, cheques, etc.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records, including inventory data entry, issuing delivery orders, stock transfers, billing, updating pricing, and stock adjustments.
• Verify daily cash/collections, sales reconciliations, and raise invoices/sales journals, ensuring accurate bank reconciliations and processing journal entries.
• Develop and maintain a fixed assets register, adhering to local accounting standards.
• Provide operational support, overseeing general administrative duties and daily office operations, including replenishment of stationery and pantries.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Accounting or ACCA/LCCI; minimum 1 year of relevant working experience; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; possess a proactive attitude and good communication skills.
