Job Title: Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist

Electrical Quality Assurance Specialists play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of electrical components and systems.

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting outgoing parts and incoming parts according to specifications, maintaining quality records, filing quality data, and highlighting problems to management for action.

Other responsibilities include authorizing the rejection of non-conforming parts, releasing conforming parts to be sent to storage, performing routine factory tests, checking switchboards completed in the workshop, testing and commissioning switchboards on board vessels or on-site, attending to warranty claims and quality complaints, conducting tests on switchboards, and assisting management with quality responsibilities and achieving quality objectives.

The successful candidate will also be required to maintain housekeeping and observe safety rules during performance of every task, ensure the use of calibrated instruments for inspection, prevent occurrence of product non-conformity, recommend solutions for problems detected, verify the implementation of solutions, and control and delivery of non-conforming products until the deficiency has been corrected.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering is essential for this position.
  • At least 2 years of experience in QA is required.
