Quality Assurance Specialist for Electrical Engineering

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the field of Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Job Description:

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing parts according to specifications and procedures.
  • Accurately record and manage quality data.
  • Identify and report quality issues to management for corrective action.
  • Segregate non-conforming products to avoid mix-ups before final decisions are made.
  • Approve or reject parts based on quality standards.
  • Conduct routine tests and checks on switchboards manufactured in-house.
  • Test and commission switchboards on-site or on vessels, ensuring customer satisfaction and handling any quality complaints or warranty issues.
  • Manage official tests requiring the presence of surveyors, consultants, or customers.
  • Assist the QA Manager in achieving quality goals and responsibilities.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the QA Department.
  • Strictly follow safety protocols for all activities.
  • Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and functional.
  • Proactively prevent product non-conformity.
  • Recommend, implement, and check the effectiveness of solutions for identified problems.
  • Oversee the resolution process for non-conforming products.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System procedures to maintain compliance and control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum ITE/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in electrical or switchboard manufacturing.
