Job Title: Senior Core Banking Transformation Manager

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will drive the successful execution of banking transformation initiatives. As a seasoned professional, you require a strong blend of technical expertise, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional analysis and solution design for core banking systems to ensure seamless delivery across all project phases.
  • Develop proposals, review, refine, and present them to stakeholders to secure project approval.
  • Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, and bank stakeholders to guarantee alignment and timely delivery.
  • Oversee system enhancements, integrations, and migrations to maintain business continuity.
  • Manage requirement gathering, gap analysis, and documentation (BRD, FSD, UAT plans) to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Ensure projects adhere to regulatory standards and internal governance requirements.
  • Support SIT/UAT cycles and post-go-live stabilization to guarantee smooth project closure.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5–12 years of experience in core banking transformation or functional consulting is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of platforms like Temenos, Finacle, CGI, or Flexcube is essential.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, project execution, and bank coordination is crucial.
  • Familiarity with BPMN, API integrations, and system architecture is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading multi-country or regional banking projects is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment is necessary.
