Job Title: Junior Engineer, Job ID: Entry Level Position

The role of the Junior Engineer is to provide technical support and contribute to company growth through expertise and a professional approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience working with manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Engineering team in contributing to company growth through technical expertise and professional engineering approach.
  • Manage project lifecycle activities including BOM creation in SAP Business One, commissioning oversight, and handling after-sales enquiries.
  • Provide technical field assistance for maintenance, installation, operation, and startup of manufacturing equipment.
  • Prepare detailed customer field reports following site visits.
  • Assist Customer Service and Sales teams by providing technical and process information related to after-market sales.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Purchasing departments for after-market sales and delivery logistics.
  • Regularly visit prospects, customers, and agents to offer technical advice and generate sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and analyze records of opportunities, quotes, and contacts to proactively act on potential leads.
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-50% annually as required.
  • Preferably 1-5 years of mechanical engineering experience with manufacturing equipment/machines (experience in animal feed/pellet/food mills is a plus).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred), Excel, and CAD tools (AutoCAD & Inventor preferred).
  • Customer service, sales support, or project management experience is a plus.
