Job Title: Conventions and Events Strategist

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Conventions and Events Strategist.

  • Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale events such as conferences, forums, and trade shows.
  • Trade Missions: Manage inbound and outbound trade missions, coordinating logistics, delegations, and business matching activities.
  • Member Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and retain members.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Organise regular networking sessions and workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing and interaction among members.
  • Membership Administration: Administer membership fee collection and membership database management.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary education with a minimum of 5 years' experience in related fields.
  • Prior experience in organising large-scale events involving C-level participants.
  • Strong operation and execution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
