Bakery Business Operations Manager

A successful Business Operations Manager for a bakery is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business, including sales, personnel management, inventory control and customer service. This key role requires strong leadership skills to motivate staff and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Schedule and train staff, foster a positive work environment and ensure team performance.
- Operations & Quality: Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety within the bakery.
- Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales growth, handle customer inquiries and complaints and provide exceptional customer experiences.
- Inventory & Product Display: Manage stock levels, arrange product displays and ensure efficient cash handling and record keeping.
- Financial Management: Control store costs, conduct financial analysis and contribute to budgeting.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit sales and business reports to superiors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Leadership and Team Motivation: Inspire and motivate staff to achieve targets.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and resolve customer issues.
- Operational & Financial Acumen: Skills in cash management, inventory control and financial reporting.
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of bakery products and ingredients is beneficial.
