Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Specialist


The primary role of the Mechanical Engineer Specialist is to provide technical support and guidance to project teams in the execution of successful projects. This involves providing expert advice and assistance on mechanical engineering matters, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing mechanical engineering support to project managers and planners.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors on mechanical engineering issues.
  • Coordinating with structural and architectural colleagues to resolve technical issues.
  • Attending project meetings and progress meetings.
  • Managing mechanical drawings and documentation.
  • Producing and submitting mechanical shop drawings and materials submissions.
  • Overseeing mechanical site activities and ensuring compliance with approved plans.
  • Preparing mechanical progress reports.
  • Arranging for mechanical testing and commissioning works.

Requirements:


To be considered for this role, you will need to possess a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have at least 3 years' experience in project management and site coordination. A strong team player with excellent communication skills is essential for this role.
