Senior Crewing Executive

Talent-Merge PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Crewing Executive to oversee the recruitment, selection, and placement of seafarers for our fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime crewing, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multicultural workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company standards through effective recruitment and selection processes.
  • Develop and manage crew budgets, including wages, travel expenses, and medical costs, to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high operational standards.
  • Liaise with vessel owners, operations teams, manning agencies, and regulatory authorities to ensure effective crewing operations and address any crew-related issues promptly.
  • Lead initiatives for crew training, career development, and succession planning to ensure a competent and well-trained workforce.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in maritime studies, human resources, business administration, or a related field. Certifications in maritime law or crewing management are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maritime crewing, with at least 3 years in a managerial position overseeing global crewing operations.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multicultural workforce with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders, including manning agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
