Syndicated Loan Specialist

This role is part of a team that supports the entire lifecycle of loans—from origination to repayment—covering complex loan types such as syndicated loans, bilateral loans, corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending, and trade finance.

The ideal candidate will contribute to building and developing teams to support loan origination and lifecycle management, which includes large complex syndicated and bilateral loans covering corporate, commercial, real estate, structured lending, and trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure quality data, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations to define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews to provide end-to-end transparency.
  • Constantly improve processes, controls, and efficiencies within the group and across the loan lifecycle.
  • Participate in loan remediation and loan system testing/migrations.
  • Manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions.
  • Coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, and perform quality control.
  • Audit business decisions to assess risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
