Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to join our research team in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining seismic sensors, organizing and processing data, and coordinating logistics for a project focused on seismic imaging for geothermal energy potential in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and maintain seismic sensors across Singapore, ensuring proper setup and data acquisition.
  • Organize, clean, and perform basic processing of seismic datasets before advanced analysis.
  • Coordinate fieldwork logistics, manage research documentation, and assist in project reporting and dissemination of findings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, geophysics, physics, computer sciences, or related areas.
  • Proficient in coding languages such as C, C++, Fortran, and Python.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and coordinate seminars, workshops, and research events effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
