Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Management:
    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of radiographers and support staff.
    Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflow.
    Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous training and professional development.
  • Clinical & Operational Excellence:
    Ensure the provision of high-quality imaging services across all modalities.
    Maintain compliance with national and international radiology standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
    Monitor and evaluate the performance of radiology equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and upgrades.
  • Quality Assurance & Patient Safety:
    Implement quality control measures to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.
    Oversee radiation protection and infection control practices.
    Investigate and resolve any issues related to imaging quality or patient care.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    Work closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and hospital administrators to ensure seamless service delivery.
    Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
    Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies.
  • Strategic Planning & Development:
    Identify and implement new technologies and innovations in radiology.
    Develop departmental budgets and optimize resource allocation.
    Lead initiatives to enhance patient experience and workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in radiography, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, equipment, and radiation safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
