Automotive Moulding Production Lead

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will oversee daily injection moulding operations, ensuring production schedules are met for automotive components. They will lead a team of technicians and operators, allocating tasks effectively to maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily injection moulding operations, meeting production targets for automotive components.

  • Supervise a team of technicians and operators, assigning tasks to optimize productivity.

  • Oversee machine maintenance checks, coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and adjustments.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), working closely with Quality Assurance on in-process checks and non-conformance issues.

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations or customer complaints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and quality control procedures.

  • Ability to analyze problems, implement solutions, and improve process efficiency.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and motivate team members.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE usage is essential.
