Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Onsite Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems.
- The successful candidate must have a degree or diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in service desk/IT onsite support is required.
- The candidate should have good working knowledge of modern IT workplace environments, including laptops/desktops, printers, networking equipment, smart devices, and Office Applications.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential for liaising with colleagues and clients.
Mandatory Skills:
- Technical expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with Service Desk management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy).
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT Onsite Support.
- Offer remote or onsite assistance with hardware, software, email, printer, IP phone, smart devices, networks, and other related services.
- Work collaboratively with service delivery managers and service desk leads to identify positive and negative incident trends.
- Attend to requests and incidents in a timely manner according to SLA requirements.
- Perform workstation setup and relocation tasks.
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms for teleconferences when IT support is needed.
- Escalate issues to the next level of support as necessary.
