Afterschool Care Teacher Job

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as an afterschool care teacher.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing the program for the class in accordance with centre policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy.
  2. Guiding primary school children (primary 1 to 5) to ensure completion of daily homework.
  3. Keeping accurate records of children's progress and addressing each child's educational and developmental needs on an individual basis.
  4. Preparing and maintaining teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
  5. Maintaining and building relationships with children and parents.
  6. Conducting unique enrichment programmes.
  7. Ensuring safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Basic first aid skills.
