Job Title:
Private Learning Mentor

About the Role:
A Private Learning Mentor works one-to-one with children who require early intervention and learning support. The primary objective is to provide a tailored approach to help these children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop customized plans and activities based on each child's unique learning profile and developmental goals
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to monitor progress, adapt strategies, and ensure comprehensive support for the child
• Employ evidence-based practices to address specific areas such as communication, motor skills, social interaction, and cognitive development
• Provide guidance and training to parents and caregivers to support the child's learning and development outside of sessions
• Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, adjusting the approach as needed to meet evolving needs
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in early intervention and special education

Required Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention, Special Education, Psychology, or related fields
• Certification in early intervention or special needs education preferred
• Previous experience working with children with special needs or developmental delays in a one-to-one setting
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach to working with children and their families
• Ability to work independently and customize learning plans based on each child's progress and needs
• Passion for helping children with special needs thrive and succeed
