Job Title: Architectural Coordinator

Description: As a key member of the construction team, you will act as a liaison between architectural design and construction, ensuring the smooth progress of projects. You will contribute to delivering projects on schedule and meeting quality standards by managing design documents, resolving design-related issues on-site, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Document Management: Review, manage, and distribute architectural design documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support and solutions for design-related inquiries and issues on-site, enhancing project efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Effectively communicate and coordinate with the design team, construction team, clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • RFI and Submittal Management: Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals (Shop Drawings, Material Submittals) to facilitate timely responses and issue resolution.
  • Quality Control: Assist in ensuring on-site quality control and adherence to safety standards, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly report on project progress and identify potential risks and challenges to inform informed decision-making.
  • As-Built Documentation: Support the preparation of as-built documentation and the handover process to ensure project closure.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as an Architectural Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Skill Set: Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit; excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Candidates with relevant experience in healthcare facilities or laboratory construction projects are highly valued.
  • Prior experience with construction projects in Singapore is an advantage.
