">Labcorp is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flow Cytometry Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic laboratory environment and contribute to the success of our organization.
">The successful candidate will have a strong background in flow cytometry, including instrument operation and data analysis. They will be responsible for operating and maintaining flow cytometry instruments and related equipment, preparing and processing biological samples for flow cytometric analysis, troubleshooting and optimizing flow cytometry protocols and procedures, and maintaining accurate and detailed records of experiments, results, and protocols.
">Collaboration with scientists to support flow cytometry needs is also an essential part of this role. The specialist will evaluate sample acceptability based on established guidelines and process specimens for analysis in accordance with established written procedures. They will accurately evaluate test results according to standardized protocols and maintain quality control measures during testing to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
">Documenting corrective and preventative actions with good documentation practices and maintaining an overview of reagent inventory are also key responsibilities of this position. Assisting in the proper maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is another important aspect of this role.
">Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in internal and external quality assessment as required and comply with good laboratory practices for all procedures in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards.
">This is a full-time position that requires a Bachelor's degree in biomedical, Immunology or biological science from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years of working experience in a flow cytometry laboratory. Proven experience with flow cytometry, including instrument operation and data analysis, and a strong understanding of flow cytometry principles and techniques are highly desirable.
">Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for this role.
