Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Security Consultant to join our team at KPMG - Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a background in large-scale international services and the ability to manage multiple processes and service delivery simultaneously. Key responsibilities include supporting the RISO in advising member firms on information risk and security standards, maintaining a knowledge base of security advisories and alerts, and providing guidance on best practice infrastructure configuration and application development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support member firms in implementing KPMG information risk and security standards.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of security advisories, alerts, and global standards.
  • Assess and provide recommendations on exceptions to policies or standards.
  • Provide guidance on best practice infrastructure configuration and application development.
  • Monitor and report on regional global technology standard adoption status.
  • Support member firms in improving global technology standard compliance status.
  • Recommend and support member firms in adopting technical controls.
  • Work with RISO to support member firms in adopting technical controls.

Requirements:

  • Background in large-scale international services and ability to manage multiple processes.
  • Security Operations/Managed Security Services experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of multiple security topics such as threat intelligence, vulnerability management products, firewall management, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience in deployment and maintenance of Microsoft products.
  • Keeps abreast of security-related technology, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience in working in a matrix management environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing or managing an enterprise level of security programs.
  • At least one industry certification preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with common IT security-related regulations and/or standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-starter with ability to work independently and multi-task.
