Job Opportunity: Senior Culinary Professional

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation, in a high-volume environment.
  • Maintain adherence to hotel policies and procedures, ensuring consistency in food quality and safety.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of workstations and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate hazardous situations and report potential dangers to supervisors.
  • Prepare mise-en-place for various dishes, marinating techniques, and sauce garnish preparations for all meal periods.
  • Ensure the consistency of food items prepared according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and maintain a positive attitude towards guests and internal customers.
  • Participate in kitchen briefings, meetings, and training sessions as scheduled.

Requirements:

  • Hold a diploma or vocational certificate in culinary skills or a related field.
  • Possess at least 2 years' experience in full-service restaurants or local/international hotels with high-volume kitchen operations.
  • Commit to rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Obtain a valid Food Hygiene/Food Handler certificate as required by local government regulations.
  • Exhibit outgoing and people-oriented personality traits.
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.
  • Willingness to commit to split-shift settings with restaurant operating hours.
