TARIPH Centre for Respiratory Research Excellence is a national research platform that addresses respiratory health and disease in Singapore. The Centre brings together interdisciplinary teams that share common interests, providing an organisational framework for academic respiratory research.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager. In this role, you will oversee daily operations and coordinate various activities for the TARIPH Patient Network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Centre operations, including procurement, office management, task coordination, KPI monitoring and reporting, and events management.
  • Monitor deadlines and assist the Centre Manager with administrative matters.
  • Manage correspondence and respond to emails.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Organise regular and ad-hoc meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide secretariat support to meetings by preparing agendas, writing minutes and following up on action items.
  • Develop communication materials including web pages, newsletters and articles.
  • Engage with TARIPH patient partners for patient network activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in academic administration with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in the event management lifecycle preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Adobe/content design software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Team player with excellent skills.
