Job Title: Data Infrastructure Solutions Expert

About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Data Infrastructure Solutions Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical pre-sales support for opportunities involving servers, storage, backup and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Early engagement with customers in selling servers, storage, backup and cloud solutions
• Understanding and gathering customer requirements and offering complete & cost-effective solutions
• Preparing solution write-ups, providing bills of materials, statements of compliance and engaging Service Delivery teams for professional efforts
• Ensuring the completeness of technical terms and conditions
• Conducting/leading technical presentations and clarifications
• Identifying project risks (technical & execution) and providing mitigation measures
• Integrating servers, storage, backup and cloud-centric solutions with support from other competency pre-sales solutions consultants

Requirements:
• At least 5-yrs experience in systems, storage, and cloud fields in Pure Storage, HPE, IBM, Dell, Hitachi Vantara, NetApp, Cisco UCS, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience with various OS (Microsoft Windows, Redhat Linux, Ubuntu Linux, Solaris, etc.) and virtualized platforms (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, Nutanix AHV, AIX LPAR, Solaris LDOM and Containers)
• Good knowledge of backup and archival solutions such as Cohesity DataProtect, Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Dell Networker/Avamar/PowerProtect, Dell Data Domain, Acronis, Arcserve, etc.
• Good knowledge in virtualization, containers, and cloud (IaaS) technology
