Job Description

As a Chef de Rang, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, maintaining in-depth knowledge of our menu, wine list, and seasonal offerings. You will guide guests through their dining experience with professionalism and warmth, overseeing a station within the restaurant while coordinating with other service staff.

You will perform tableside service techniques, including food presentation and carving, assist with wine service, and provide informed recommendations to guests. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to restaurant standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Deliver exceptional service to guests with meticulous attention to detail
  2. Maintain in-depth knowledge of our menu, wine list, and seasonal offerings
  3. Guide guests through their dining experience with professionalism and warmth
  4. Oversee a station within the restaurant, coordinating with other service staff
  5. Perform tableside service techniques, including food presentation and carving
  6. Assist with wine service and provide informed recommendations to guests
  7. Ensure adherence to restaurant standards, policies, and procedures
  8. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
  9. Perform all service duties, including but not limited to:
    1. Opening and closing of the restaurant
    2. Taking and fulfilling customers' orders
    3. Cleaning and clearing tables
    4. Proper handling of the POS system

Your Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in hospitality or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant setting
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Rang, Commis de Rang, or equivalent position
  • Strong knowledge of food and wine pairing principles
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Professional appearance and exceptional personal grooming standards
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure
