Job Title

We are seeking an individual to join our team as a part-time barista. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and dedicated to providing warm and welcoming service.

The successful candidate will support daily operations across all stores, making and serving a selection of delicious beverages with various brewing and preparation methods. They will also stay knowledgeable about current beverage offerings and preparation techniques, continuously cultivating their own curiosity and knowledge through in-house tastings, cuppings, and trainings.

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality to customers, colleagues, and vendors/suppliers
  • Make and serve a variety of drinks using different brewing and preparation methods
  • Stay up-to-date on Alchemist's beverage offerings and preparation techniques
  • Taste coffee regularly to ensure quality and develop palate
  • Create a community in cafes by sharing joy and knowledge of coffee with guests; inspire teammates to do the same
  • Support team by taking pride in tasks that keep cafe running smoothly and effectively
  • Maintain proper health and food safety according to guidelines
  • Promote clean and safe workspace
Requirements
  • Proactive and enthusiastic with interest in learning and making coffee
  • Outgoing personality to interact with customers
  • Passionate about specialty coffee and creating inclusive hospitality engagement
  • Excited about taking on challenges and possessing positive attitude
  • Eligible to work in Singapore with valid citizenship
  • Possess valid food hygiene certificate
