Materials Planning and Supply Chain Expert

This is a pivotal role in optimizing inventory levels to maximize customer satisfaction, minimize product obsolescence, control transportation costs, and maintain optimal stock levels.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely replenishment of inventories according to the supply chain cycle, communicating with sales, marketing, and customer service teams on potential service issues.

The job scope includes monitoring and analyzing all replenishment orders for nutritional and pharmaceutical products, requesting changes in a timely manner to support customer orders, and avoiding excess inventories that may result in obsolescence or increased transportation costs.

  • Review and monitor planning parameters, recommending changes when necessary.
  • Plan and requisition finished goods for all non-distribution replenishment items.
  • Provide support to the APAC business, which is managed from our site.

Key responsibilities include handling and processing orders assigned by the APAC customer service team on bids and tenders customers as well as regular monthly orders.

Additional tasks include managing IMEX inventory transactions, keeping product data management systems updated for all affiliate items, identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies among systems accuracy and physical material movement and shipments, and maintaining import and export logs for the affiliate.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Knowledge of Vlookup and Pivotable tables would be an advantage, as would familiarity with SAP and macro languages. Self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are highly sought after.
