Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of M&E site works. This involves working closely with structural and architectural trades to achieve effective interface responsibilities and associated works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret specifications and combined services drawings accurately, identify discrepancies and perform calculations of levels;
  • Ensure all M&E queries and discrepancies are put up and resolved in writing via the issue of Request For Information/ Request For Approval documents;
  • Submit and obtain approval of samples and shop drawings from consultants;
  • Produce, compile and issue M&E documents, shop drawings and as-built drawings to consultants for approval, and issue approved documents and drawings to site for construction;
  • Work closely with structural and architectural trades for effective execution of interface responsibilities and associated works;
  • Submit method statements of specialist sub-contractors, if any, to QEHS section for evaluation and corresponding QEHS inputs prior to approval by consultants;
  • Control registration and distribution of M&E construction drawings and revisions, if any;
  • Plan, coordinate and implement overall M&E site works with M&E sub-contractors and other related trades;
  • Identify and resolve M&E on-site problems;
  • Properly trained in QEHS Policy, Objectives, impact/risk assessment, relevant safe work procedure/operational control procedure, management programme, applicable legal and other requirements;
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering;
  • 2-3 years' experience in local building projects;
  • Experience with building electrical, sanitary and plumbing works;
  • Knowledge in BIM/VDC is an advantage.
