Private Credit Investment Specialist Role

The Private Credit Investment Specialist will be part of a team focused on evaluating investment opportunities and developing strategies to manage risks.

  • Develop and articulate private credit investment strategies, monitor the private credit landscape for intelligence on downside drivers.
  • Evaluate deals and fund investments, provide an independent view on business quality, financial strength, and risk of capital loss.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of portfolio and fund investments, identifying key themes and disruption risks.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of nationalities and backgrounds, including individuals with prior experience in investment banking, consulting, and private markets investing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop private credit investment strategy and monitor the private credit landscape for intelligence.
  2. Evaluate deal potential, identify and examine key risks and mitigants, and opine on risk-return.
  3. Monitor and evaluate performance of portfolio and fund investments.
  4. Manage pricing and currency hedge cost models, set hurdle rates, stress test portfolio returns, and monitor concentration risks.

As a successful candidate, you will possess a passion for credit investing, 5-8 years of experience, and at least 3 years of buyside experience at direct lending firms, investment banks, or merchant banks.
