**Job Description**:

- Unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a new private credit fund backed by a highly credible leadership team.

**The Job**

As the Head of Private Credit Fund, you will be responsible for setting up and leading the fund’s investment strategy, origination, and execution across India, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. You will play a critical role in identifying and structuring private credit opportunities, ensuring robust risk management, and delivering strong returns for investors.

Key Responsibilities
- Fund Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the private credit investment strategy, aligning with the firm’s overall objectives.
- Origination & Deal Flow: Leverage your network to source high-quality private credit opportunities across India, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
- Deal Structuring & Execution: Structure, negotiate, and execute private credit transactions, ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate credit, market, and structural risks associated with investments.
- Investor Relations: Engage with LPs and other stakeholders, articulating investment strategy, performance, and risk management frameworks.
- Team Building: Assemble and lead a high-performing investment team as the fund scales.
- 10+ years of experience in private credit, with a strong track record as an originator in India and South/Southeast Asia.
- Deep expertise in deal structuring, credit risk assessment, and investment execution.
- Strong network across corporates, sponsors, intermediaries, and financial institutions in the region.
- Proven ability to build and lead an investment platform, including hiring and mentoring talent.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with LPs, investors, and regulators.
