The primary objective of this role is to effectively coordinate the baggage handling process within a dynamic airport environment. As a Mass Hiring Baggage Coordinator Shift, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, maintaining high levels of efficiency, and guaranteeing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Updating real-time baggage information and flight displays to ensure accurate tracking and efficient processing.">
  • Troubleshooting scheduling conflicts as they arise, prioritizing tasks to maintain optimal operational flow.">
  • Coordinating closely with the Engineering Baggage Control Room to address any operational changes or challenges in the baggage handling area.">
  • Monitoring and improving arrival baggage presentation performance, striving to meet or exceed set KPIs.">
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy baggage handling area by working collaboratively with other stakeholders.">
  • Reporting any facility-related issues to the relevant committee.">
  • Participating in joint inspections with stakeholders, accompanied by Airside Support Officers or higher.">
  • Ensuring seamless coordination with baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling.">
  • Responding promptly to on-site incidents, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.">
  • Enforcing safety and security protocols among staff, ensuring compliance with established regulations.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • ">
  • Minimum NITEC qualification in a relevant field.">
  • Physical fitness to work in a fast-paced environment.">
  • Familiarity with airport safety and security protocols is advantageous.">
  • Possession of a Class 3 driving license is preferred, enabling operation of baggage trucks.">
  • Prior experience in airline/airport scheduling, particularly in gate and baggage scheduling systems, is highly beneficial.">
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts.">

Working Conditions:

This role operates on a 2 Days Work 2 Days Off schedule, with assigned morning and night shifts between 8:30am and 8:30pm. The working location is Changi Airport.
