**Job Overview**

**Summary:** We are seeking a skilled professional to work at an airport. As a Baggage Coordinator, you will be responsible for manually updating baggage information and flight displays, troubleshooting scheduling conflicts, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring arrival baggage presentation meets performance indicators.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually update baggage information and flight displays on time.
  • Troubleshoot multiple scheduling conflicts as they arise, minimizing delays and improving operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for real-time changes and challenges in the baggage handling area, ensuring seamless integration of systems and processes.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality arrival baggage presentation performance, adhering to established key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to keep the baggage handling area clean and tidy, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Communicate issues effectively to management, facilitating prompt resolution.
  • Participate in joint inspections with stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Facilitate communication with baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to incidents on-site, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Enforce adherence to safety and security protocols, maintaining a secure working environment.

**Requirements:**

  • NITEC qualification in a relevant field is required.
  • Candidates must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with airport safety and security protocols is advantageous.
  • A Class 3 driving license is preferred for operating baggage trucks.
  • Prior airline/airport experience is beneficial.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts are essential.
